February 2, 2010
NORTH BAY – The Cementation group of the Americas, which includes Cementation Canada, Cementation USA, Cementation Mexico, Terracem (Chile), and Cementation Sudamérica, have just completed one year with no lost time injuries throughout all of their operations. The management of Cementation would like to thank all of our employees for working safely and recognizing that no task is so important that it cannot be done safely. The support of our clients and their commitment to safety first is crucial in obtaining injury free projects and we thank all of our clients for their faith in our company and their ongoing support.
“We are very proud of our team for this outstanding achievement. Our employees have worked hard to achieve this goal.” Cementation Canada President Roy Slack said.
Many projects have recorded extended periods with no injuries. The Resolution project, a shaft sinking project for Resolution Copper near Phoenix Arizona, is one such example. The team was recently recognized by MSHA and the Sentinels of Safety for their outstanding safety performance.
