During the 2009 Canadian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy (CIM) conference in Toronto, two Cementation employees received recognition for their contribution to the mining industry.
Robert Pronovost, P.Eng., FCIM, was awarded a Canadian Institute of Mining & Metallurgy (CIM) Fellowship. The CIM Fellowship recognizes members who have distinguished themselves through outstanding contributions to the mining, metallurgical and petroleum industries.
Roy Slack, P.Eng, was awarded the Metal Mining Society Award for exceptional contributions to the CIM and to the sustainability of Canadian contracting companies related to the mining industry.
