The Eagle Project was awarded to Cementation by Kennecott Minerals who wish to develop their high grade nickel deposit near Marquette, Michigan. This is a greenfields project which has been designed with leading edge abatement criteria to maintain the local environment. Cementation’s scope includes surface installations, portal construction, 9500 feet of ramp development followed by 17,000 feet of trackless lateral development, 2700 feet of raise excavation and miscellaneous underground infrastructure construction.
