JOB TITLE: Electrical Service Technician
LOCATION:North Bay, ON
DEPARTMENT:Raise Boring
KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:
Reporting to the Raise Boring Project Co-ordinator the Journeyman Electrician will install, construct, maintain, and repair various electrical systems, components, and machines in the shop and on site at project locations. This position is located in North Bay with extensive travel to projects throughout North and South America.
- Site set-up and start-up support
- Repair and maintenance to existing equipment
- Proficient with PLC troubleshooting
- Design and build new equipment
- Training of equipment operators
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: Applicable post secondary education or equivalent experience
Experience: Minimum of 3 years experience as a Journeyman Electrician.
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & ABILITIES:
- Bilingual (English & French) Spanish would be an asset
- Journeyman Electrician
- Electrical Engineer Technologist Certification would be an asset
- PLC programming would be an asset
- Hydraulic/Mechanical Experience
- Microsoft Office
- AutoCAD
