JOB TITLE: Underground Journeyman Electrician
LOCATION:Canadian Sites
DEPARTMENT:
KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:
Performs the installation, maintenance and repair of all underground site electrical equipment, including but not limited to:
- All underground power distribution
- All underground electrical equipment related to development
- Maintain all underground Jumbos
Additional Tasks include:
- Ensure they understand the company policies and work in accordance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act.
- Ensures personal protective equipment is used as required.
- Utilizes Proper procedures for electrical duties.
- Isolates electrical power to equipment for others as required in accordance to project lock out procedure
- Repairs and maintains all electrical equipment in accordance with the preventative maintenance program.
- Utilize the 5 point safety system as specified within the site safety management

QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: Full Basic Common Core
Experience: 3 years related work experience
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & ABILITIES:
- Site Orientation
- WHMIS
- Fall Arrest
- Lifesaver TM-60 (self rescuer)
- Registration in Common Core
