Partnering in Safety

The Cementation Crew at Resolution Copper Mine is the recipient of the first annual Arizona State Mine Inspector's Safety Award in the mine contractor category. Acknowledging Cementation's achievement of Zero Lost Time Injuries for the year 2008, the award is also based on man hours worked, and the Arizona State Mine Inspector's assessments and inspections of the site throughout the year.

Achieving this milestone required a personal commitment to safe work practices by everyone. A special thank you to the client team, project team, crews, and the support staff for believing that working safely is the only way to work.
